Terms & Conditions
By purchasing tickets you commit to the following understandings:
- Canning Show is run by a not-for-profit organisation (Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society Inc. (CAHRS)) with the aim of entertaining, enriching, educating, inspiring, and celebrating diverse communities – and giving the best possible value to all! Our Terms & Conditions reflect these objectives.
- Tickets are non-transferable and may not be re-sold.
- Refunds are not given unless extenuating circumstances are agreed as warranting one. Email application for a refund must be made prior to the Canning Show start time and may not be reviewed until after the Canning Show finishes.
- Concession ticket purchasers must show a valid concession card at the gate along with photo ID, otherwise their ticket will be invalidated.
- Bring your printed or email/online copies of your tickets to the event for admission and your photo ID.
- Can’t find your tickets? Log into Eventbrite (where you bought them) to locate. Can’t remember how to do that? https://www.eventbrite.com.au/help/en-au/articles/319355/where-are-my-tickets/
- Canning Show is not responsible for anyone falling victim to scammers and rorts – Eventbrite is THE ONLY platform where tickets can be officially purchased and guarantee your entry.
- You will be added to the communications database to receive eNews updates related to the Canning Show and Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds venue. You may opt out of this at any time.
- By entering the event you agree to potentially feature in photos or videos that may be used for promotional purposes for Canning Show and relinquish copyright to the Canning Show. However, should you not want this, please simply ask our photographers or videographers to delete the footage, or stop taking photos of you.
- This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event. Our venues are smoke-free. Please respect others.
- Bags may be searched on entry.
- Children may not be admitted unless accompanied by a guardian over 18 years of age. However, we have not placed an age limit on this. Rather, it is at the parent or guardian’s discretion whether they allow their child to attend the show unsupervised. It is our recommendation that children aged 12 years or younger be accompanied by an adult.
- The Attendee assumes full responsibility for any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during the event and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless CAHRS from all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising therefrom, except where such injury or damage is directly caused by CAHRS proven negligence.
- All participants attend and engage in the event at their own risk, and CAHRS shall not be held liable for any accident, injury, or damage to persons or property, unless resulting solely from the Organiser’s negligent acts or omissions.
- CAHRS disclaims all responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by attendees or their property during the event, except in instances where such harm is a direct result of CAHRS negligence or wilful misconduct.
- Canning Show By-Laws apply.
