Partner with Canning Show 2023 and you become an integral part of one of WA’s most unique and successful community events of its kind.

Evolving to become not only a must-attend event on family calendars, but attracting an increasingly demographically diverse audience, the last few years have seen continual record-breaking attendances and award kudos.

This year continues this momentum by planning our biggest show yet, 2023’s edition acting as the official launch for new venues at our home of Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds. More venues, more space, more fun, and a greater ability to maximise our partners and sponsors’ benefits!

Expecting the most attendees ever in 2023, there’s never been a better time to support this community-enriching event.

We’ve created some amazing opportunities to promote your business via different sponsorship levels, each coming loaded with different benefits – from free show tickets to Awards invites, and beyond. These include taking advantage of strong Canning Show and CECS tools to promote your support of this not-for-profit event, including:

  • Collective social media community of 11,000+ followers
  • Facebook reach to 350,000+ users for last year’s campaign alone
  • Active contact database of 15,000+ subscribers

Our creative team also invites mutually beneficial partnerships that could include opportunities such as:

  • Space for activations
  • Interactive competitions
  • Partnered promotion of offerings from your business/organisation
  • Long-term sponsorship opportunities
  • Naming rights for particular areas, stages etc
  • ANYTHING that helps both of our organisations, whether a paid sponsorship or in-kind offering – let’s get creative

  • Like a less overwhelming, more free-focused and hands-on version of the Perth Royal Show, the Canning Show has become one of WA’s biggest agricultural shows; featuring rides, games, animals, showbags, performances, exhibitions, displays, edutainment & more.
  • Run by our not-for-profit organisation Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society Inc (CAHRS), the Show celebrates & enriches Perth’s diverse communities.
  • Evolved from holding flower shows in Cannington since 1892.
  • A successful Exhibition remains a key component, with showcasing and stimulating community talent & creativity an important objective for CAHRS.
  • No Canning Show has made a profit since the mid-’70s. We have alternative sources of largely independent income, also used by CAHRS to deepen community involvement through various other events, classes, groups etc.
  • The Show is held at Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds (CECS), also run by CAHRS in a not-for-profit capacity, providing a venue for around 450+ events, festivals, courses, workshops etc each year.

  • 3 Sessions spread over Friday 3 & Saturday 4 November.
  • Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds (CECS) will add new venues this year, the Show enjoying further expansion.
  • Again cheap, accessible tickets, with much of the entertainment included FREE in ticket price.
  • Key presenting partners Lotterywest, City of Canning & Westfield Carousel, however opportunities for local sponsors are open…

  • Ticket and attendance records broken three out of the last four years.
  • Last two years averaged 15,000 smiles through the gates per Show.
  • On average, $10,000 raised for other not-for-profits/charities per Show.
  • 100s of local performers and businesses supported each show.
  • Powered by more than 100 volunteers yearly.
  • Expanding geographic pull, solidifying reputation as a Greater Perth event.
  • Rising interest in Exhibition, including most number of exhibitors we have had entering the Exhibition in more than a decade in 2022.

Want to be an important part of our biggest show yet & maximize your benefits?

With Bronze, Silver, Gold and Major Partner tiers of sponsorship, you will receive some substantial benefits across the board for your contribution, including a heap of social media shout-outs, promotion, free passes to the show, naming rights, main stage mentions during the event, logo visibility across websites or socials, and so much more.

We would love to arrange a sponsorship or in-kind partnership that sees both organisations reaping the rewards – with creative ideas 100% welcomed!
