Benefit by becoming part of the Canning Show 2024!

After more record-breaking attendances and new venue launches saw nearly 20,000 smiles last year, one of Perth’s premier community events Canning Show is now readying to take fun to the next level on Friday 1 & Saturday 2 November 2024.

Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds will celebrate additional venues, with the completed refurbishment of the Cyril Vickery Pavilion adding new spaces for a line-up that will showcase even more FREE entertainment. Plus a massive mix of fun, education, and inspiration that make the Canning Show an unmissable event for all ages, backgrounds, and interests.

We are constantly searching for diverse offerings to enhance the Canning Show experience.
Expressions of Interest are now open for a range of organizations and businesses looking to take advantage of the opportunities available, or to be a part of the fun as a volunteer.

We currently have a range of opportunities, including for:

  • Food & Drinks Vendors
  • Commercial Stalls
  • Community Stalls (free)
  • Performers / Demonstrators
  • Volunteers

Become a dealer of deliciousness at Canning Show. We’re looking for a diverse range of different vendors, including budget-friendly, multicultural and classic Show faves.

Food Stalls must be approved by City of Canning, Environmental Health Services before the commencement of the Show.
Closing date for City of Canning is 14 days prior to event. Food stalls are subject to approval by the Executive Officer or Ground Steward and inspection by City Health Officers.

Provided at no cost for not-for-profit groups, schools or other community-oriented groups; we’re here to share your positive contributions, services or goods to the local community.

PERFORMERS / ENTERTAINERS / DEMONSTRATORS / COMMUNITY GROUPS / SCHOOLS

We still have a range of opportunities available for diverse entertainers, both paid and unpaid, and covering ANYTHING – from school talent troupes to award-winning acts or cultural dance workshop facilitators, and beyond

Please apply if you are interested in performing on the main stage, roving around the venue, a school performance, a professional act looking for a paid performance etc.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Show, with 100+ amazing people volunteering to help power the LiveLighter Canning Show each year. INTERNS / WORK EXPERIENCE PLACEMENTS IN LEAD UP TO SHOW

Want a longer term placement with sustained outcomes? We’re looking for students, graduates or people with some experience in relevant areas who are looking to gain invaluable learning and CV-building experiences. Whilst working across Cannington Exhibition Centre and CAHRS’s 450+ diverse range of events, you would primarily focus on the Canning Show.
