Travel to the Canning Show

Please note, as an eco-minded event, we encourage the use of public transport, walking, biking or other methods to get to the Show that not only help the environment but also keep you fit and healthy!

Plus, it’s going to be busy, so avoid any fuss, and catch the bus (or train etc)!

Entry points

All general public must enter by gate Gate 2 on Station Street.

Entertainers, VIPs and show staff will be issued instructions on which gate to use.

By Car:

Limited parking is available – Enter off Liege Street or Station Street.  Overflow parking is permitted in Greyhounds WA parking areas.  There is also some on-street parking.

By Bus:

Bus Services – Albany Highway

Stop 10164 (south bound)

Stop 10049 (north bound) cross at Liege Street

Bus service 294 – Carousel to Midland Station

Stop 13627 or 22003 on Grose Street

By Train:

Use the Armadale Line – stopping at either Cannington or Beckenham Train Station

Walking distance from either station is approx. 1.4km

By Shuttle Bus:

A complimentary shuttle bus will be operating in a circular loop from the Cannington Train station to the drop off point at the Showgrounds entry (Gate 2 turnstiles).

Walk or cycle to:

Station Street Turnstiles

Rideshare Services (Uber, Ola etc) or drop offs

Best enter via Leige Street side near where Greyhounds is.

ACROD Parking

Dedicated ACROD parking bays are located at Gate 1 (off Station Street), please arrive early to avoid disappointment. 

Wheelchairs

The Canning Exhibition Centre and Showground is a wheelchair friendly venue with accessible bathroom facilities.

Ticket Concessions

Companion Cardholders receive free entry when accompanying a companion holding a purchased ticket.  
Information for small groups with mobility challenges

Call ahead and we will arrange for your group to be met at the Station Street Turnstile by a Steward who will help you process your group through the entrance.  On grounds parking for buses can also be arranged.  You can pre-purchase tickets online.
