CALLING ALL SCHOOL STUDENTS!

There are numerous ways students and schools can be involved in the Canning Show, and, considering young families and teens make up the largest audience for Canning Show, we’d love your help in getting the word out – and helping your school get some extra kudos!

WAYS YOU CAN HELP / BENEFIT:

  • Forward this info and Schedule of Entries to the relevant classes/teachers (including any arts, craft, cooking, gardening-related classes for the Exhibition – or everyone for general Canning Show news).
  • Contact us if you would like to explore promoting your school in any way, including a performance, school Exhibition display etc
  • Run a giveaway – We’d be happy to organise some FREE tickets for your School to run a giveaway in a school e/newsletter or social media (a win-win as encourages engagement for your channels and our Show’s reach).
  • Ask for more copies of the Exhibition Schedule Of Entries if you have somewhere to distribute them (eg library, Admin office etc).
  • Share announcements on social media – please tag us in so we can engage with your posts to thank you!
  • Share relevant news in your e/Newsletter – to inspire both students and parents.
  • Organise a school excursion, tour of the Exhibition – tickets are already super cheap, but we can look at organising even cheaper group bookings for classes, or even look at an Exhibition tour

EXHIBITION – Plenty of opportunities for schools/students!

Canning Show Exhibition has a long history of showcasing schools and their students. The Exhibition can be the perfect motivator for students to create great work and gain recognition for their creativity, further inspiring their creative processes and ambition. If students also win prizes, then this can result in fantastic media coverage and increase your schools’ reputation for producing great students and work.

KEY EXHIBITION FEATURES RELEVANT TO STUDENTS:

  • One of the largest annual exhibitions in WA showcasing a wide array of arts, crafts, hobbies, creations and produce, all about igniting your creative spark.
  • Huge audience – don’t just have your friends and family admire your work – get seen by 20K+ people over the weekend of the Canning Show.
  • Over $14,000 in cash prizes rewarded to the best exhibits, plus trophies, sashes, and other awards. Thousands of dollars are only awarded to School classes. So, get paid for your work you’ve already completed at school, or your home efforts.
